Milwaukee, Wisc. August 12, 2019 – After a successful Night Market in July that saw thousands of attendees, NEWaukee is excited to announce that the Night Market season continues this Wednesday, August 14th from 5-10PM. The Night Market is a monthly outdoor showcase that offers a wide variety of experiences for people of all backgrounds and ages on West Wisconsin Avenue.
Wednesday’s Night Market will include special performances from the Milwaukee Flyers, TRUE Skool, Fire Dancers, DJ Loop and DJ Ronco.
Guests can dine with over 40 food vendors like Meat on the Street, Pete’s Pops, Fauntleroy, Foxfire Food Truck, Junior’s Smoked BBQ, Happy Dough Lucky, Marco Pollo and more. More than 80 art, craft, and local organizations will participate including Cuatro Uno Cuatro, OnMilwaukee.com, Ayzha Fine Arts, Milwaukee Comedy, Alonzo Artistry, Lit MKE, 88Nine Radio Milwaukee, Visit Milwaukee and more.
Activities will include life size chess and checkers, shuffleboard with NorthSouth Club, video games with Carcade, virtual tours of the Grand Theater with Kahler Slater, s’mores roasting with GRAEF and free sampling with Red Vines.

The market will feature a craft brewery village with Eagle Park, Gathering Place, Milwaukee Brewing Company, MobCraft, Sprecher, and Third Space. Additionally, bars will serve MANCAN wine and Central Standard Craft Distillery batch cocktails.
NEWaukee founded the Night Market in the summer of 2014 with the goal of creating a free, vibrant, safe, and interactive place in downtown Milwaukee for people to experience culture at night.
West Wisconsin Avenue between Plankinton and Vel R. Phillips Avenue, and Old World Third between Wisconsin Avenue and Wells Street will be shut down from 12PM-1AM on the day of the event. Busses that run along Wisconsin Avenue will be rerouted to either Michigan Avenue or Wells Street.
The final 2019 NEWaukee Night Market will take place on West Wisconsin Avenue from 5-10PM on September 11th.
