At The Confluence this Saturday, we’re bringing Oak Creek’s Lake Vista Park to life with a new free, public festival. Here are our top 7 reasons why you should attend:
- Craft Beer – Grab brews from Gathering Place, Milwaukee Brewing Company, Third Space and Sprecher. Cheers!
- Local Food Trucks – We’ll have several options to choose from including Meat on the Street, Pedro’s South American Food, and more.
- Artist Installations – Explore the park and experience six sculptural installations produced by a variety of local artists.
- #ShopLocal – Shop local craft vendors selling art, clothing, accessories, skin care products and more.
- Family-Friendly Activities – Children’s activities will include face painting and a storytime led by Ebenezer Child Care Centers.
- Live Performances – Enjoy music from local entertainers Alex Paniagua, Bryan Cherry and DJ Shawna. Additionally, we’ll have dance performances from Danceworks, The Academy of Performing Arts and Young Dance Academy.
- Breathtaking Views – Opened in 2018, Lake Vista Park is located on the shores of Lake Michigan in Oak Creek with beautiful views of the water. A former industrial site, this new park is the perfect place to wander, take photos and enjoy an evening with your friends and family.
Leashed dogs are welcome. Seating will be limited, so please bring blankets and/or lawn chairs. Feel free to bring kites, frisbees, and other recreational activities.
